Dr. Van was born in Vietnam and grew up in Texas. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Prior to attending optometry school, Dr. Van spent six years serving in the Texas Army National Guard. Dr. Van earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry.
Prior to joining All Eye Care Doctors and EYESPOT, she completed externships at Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, Dimock Community Health Center, and the NECO Center for Eye Care. Throughout her professional experience, she has developed an interest in treating dry eye and fitting specialty contact lenses for Myopia control and Keratoconus patients. Dr. Van speaks both English and Vietnamese. She is known for her approachable and well-meaning demeanor. When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Van enjoys exercising, hiking, and spending time with her friends, family, and beloved pets.
